As a Publisher, Lifestyle Educator, Natural Living Expert, and mama of two girls, Nichi has been educating families on the benefits of living more healthfully for the last twelve years. 

She founded My Healthy Beginning four years ago, a magazine focused on naturally raising families to more consistently give moms realistic information on how to bring healthier options home to their families. 

Of course, this is only the official way of saying she was looking to create income for her family that would allow more time to ignore the tasks of home keeping and to live more freely catching frogs, playing Friend Grown-Ups, baking, making treasures for loved ones, and nibbling on toddler toes.

EDITOR - Jodi Stebleton

Two of my greatest passions in life are natural childbirth and the written word. As a childbirth educator and editor of My Healthy Beginning, I get to incorporate aspects of both into what I do as a profession and I love it.

My ultimate passion? My husband Todd is a health coach, personal trainer, and the smartest guy I know…but we just call him Pops. He is a wonderful dad to our two sons, Rowan and Loic. These boys are the pinnacle of my life.

I grew up in Apple Valley and attended the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Taking part in a study abroad program in Montpellier, France during my sophomore year inspired me to take a teaching position there after graduation. But hélas, home is where the heart is, and my heart was back in Minnesota with my then boyfriend, Todd.

Now married and a family of four, it amazes me how parenthood has changed us. It’s a continual study in patience, long-suffering, and most of all, love.

I love what I do – and it’s just an added bonus that I get to try and help others along the way.

PRODUCTION ARTIST - Cathi Erickson

Small town girl meets the big city... Born and raised in rural Minnesota, my passions have always been art and nature. I'm always getting my hands dirty with all kinds of art, from drawing and painting to collage and home-made birthday cards.

When the administration of a sophisticated art college looked at me with a blank stare after asking what I could do with a degree in fine art, my artistic goals turned digital. Technology was growing faster than the weeds in my parent's garden and that's where I wanted to be.

After four years of organic curves, modified type, and hand-made books, I received my bachelors degree in visual communications in the spring of 07.

Now I enjoy mixing art into my everyday life and home. I like bringing the thoughts of my garden into my computer and the artwork on my computer out into the world. Nature meets technology.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - Kristin Brown

As a birth doula, I have had the wonderful privilege of assisting women in natural childbirth for the past 2½ years. Now I am very excited to have the opportunity to expand my work with families in our community with My Healthy Beginning.

But childbirth is only one of my many interests. I also enjoy volunteering, baking, cake decorating, and traveling. I have been to such amazing places as Thailand, Austria, France, and Australia…and that is just in the past two years. You never know where my next adventure will take me!

Dr Carrie Clark, FICPA, owner of 50th & France Chiropractic has been helping families find health naturally since 2000. She graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic after graduating from Moorhead State in 1997. She is the proud home-birthing Mama of two amazing, strong girls who find interesting ways to challenge her everyday.

Dr. Ron Ledoux is a licensed Chiropractor who received his degree from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas.  Dr. Ledoux is the owner and founder of Back To Life Natural Health Center where he has been offering holistic health care since 2000.
